My weight loss challenge is to help 100 people lose 20 lbs or more for a total weight loss of 1 ton!
For a long time now I’ve noticed that my weight had been increasing. Not so much by keeping track of my weight on the scale, but not being able to fit into my clothes. They just kept getting tighter and tighter.
Recently I started to work with some people who were working in the weight loss industry. After being introduced to what they were doing, I figured I could stand to lose a few pounds and inches so why not give it a try.
Man was I surprised! Not being one to keep track of my weight, within a month I had to tighten my belt to keep my pants in place. That was 3 months ago.
A few weeks ago, after moving my belt in by 3 notches, I thought I would weigh myself just to see where I was. The last time I had checked my weight before that, I was right around 225 pounds. I was quite surprised to see that after I checked my weight that I was at 203 pounds. I had lost 25 lbs and hadn’t really changed my diet or exercise routine.
So one of my business partners came up with the idea of a weight loss challenge. We came up with the goal of helping people lose 1 ton of weight. I figure if my weight had dropped that much why not help others who want to improve themselves by losing weight. This is very doable within the time frame we have set up for this challenge.
I look at it this way. if my weight has gone down that much with this little effort, then anybody can do this. It’s going to be fun and with the support of everyone else, I believe it will be easy to do as well.
